ASU to Build Soccer Stadium in Conjunction with HCSA, Watauga County
BOONE, N.C. — Beginning in 2008, Appalachian State University men’s and women’s soccer will play its home games in a state-of-the-art, 1,000-seat stadium that will anchor the brand-new Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex, ASU athletics announced in conjunction with the High Country Soccer Association (HCSA) and Watauga County on Thursday.   Full Story

ASU Athletes, Coaches and Staff to Participate in Celebrity Serve 2008
Boone, N.C. - Appalachian State University student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff will participate in the 2008 edition of Celebrity Serve on Tuesday, April 8 to benefit the High Country Soccer Association. The event will help the Field of Dreams fundraising campaign that is raising money to build the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex on Brookshire Road along the New River. Celebrities will fill-in as servers at participating restaurants and donate all tips to the HCSA. Full Story
