The mission of the Yosef Club Advisory Board is to help in the solicitation of funds from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations to support scholarships for student-athletes. Each board member should have an understanding, commitment and love for Appalachian State University and Appalachian athletics. In addition, each member is required to attend a majority of the board meetings, spend time become familiar with the athletics program and Yosef Club and attend as many Appalachian athletics contests as possible. Members are also required to make an annual financial commitment to the Yosef Club Annual Scholarship Fund. In addition, each member is to assume a leadership role in working with volunteers in their regional area and assume a leadership role in any Yosef-sponsored events in their region.
