YOSEF CLUB PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM

Appalachian athletics' priority point system recognizes past and present support for Appalachian Athletics and is calculated using the following four factors:

1. Heritage - All members will be rewarded for the number of years they have supported Appalachian athletics as a Yosef Club member. For example, memberships that have exceeded 10 years will be awarded more points than those that have joined within the last 10 years.

2. Cumulative Giving - All members will be granted points for every dollar donated over their lifetimes. This includes all Capital Campaign, Yosef, Special Contributions and Marketing Payment contributions in support of Appalachian State Athletics. Yosef Club members will also be awarded priority points for every year they have donated more than $100.

3. Current Giving - Contributions to the Yosef Club for the 2008-09 year will receive priority points. Pledges or payments must be received by June 30, 2008 for purchasing away game tickets and post season championship tickets. Also, donations must have been received by August 1, 2007 to be considered for premium /club seating. In addition, an extra point is earned for every $10,000 of current giving.

4. Marketing Contributions - Priority points are given for current year and cumulative marketing support of Appalachian State athletics.


* Limited Time Points Incentive - All donors have the opportunity to receive additional incentive points by giving to the Appalachian State Athletic Enhancement Campaign. For a limited time only, in addition to the points you earn by being a Yosef Club member, you can receive incentive points by making an additional donation to the Capital Campaign. Make your donation by December 31, 2008 and you will receive these special incentive points based on your contribution.*

The chart below explains specific point calculations and distribution based on the above criteria.



These factors, added together, provide each Yosef Club member a rank for premium seating by March 30th, parking rank within your Yosef giving level and priority for away game and post season championship tickets. The priority benefit deadline for this year is June 30, 2008. To be considered for these benefits, you must join or renew your membership to the Yosef Club and/or make a gift to the Enhancement Campaign. Away game and championship tickets will be distributed by your points rank after the June 30th deadline.

We encourage you to join or renew your Yosef Club membership soon to aid in your points total for upcoming benefits for the 2008-09 athletic seasons. Remember, March 30, 2008 is the deadline for your Club Seating points rank and June 30, 2008 is the priority benefits deadline for your points total in this upcoming athletic year.
