CHARLESTON, S.C.- For the second consecutive year, the Appalachian State women’s tennis team faced nationally ranked Furman in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference tournament. The No. 68 Paladins once again proved to be too much for the Mountaineers as Appalachian fell 4-0. With the loss, ASU concludes its 2008 season with a 8-13 record, while Furman improves to 17-5 overall.
